WP EasyCart Integration

AffiliatePress integrates with WP EasyCart to automatically track affiliate commissions whenever customers purchase products from your online store.

Here we’ll see how to integrate WP EasyCart with AffiliatePress. 

Before You Begin

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have the following installed and activated:

• WordPress with administrator access
• WP EasyCart
• AffiliatePress

Set Up WP EasyCart Integration

To connect WP EasyCart with AffiliatePress:

1. Head over to AffiliatePress → Settings → Integrations.
2. Scroll down until you find the WP EasyCart integration.
3. Toggle on the integration and save your changes.

After turning on the integration, the following commission settings become available.

Exclude Shipping

Shipping charges are excluded from the order total before affiliate commissions are calculated.

For example, if an order contains:

• Product Total: $100
• Shipping: $15

The commission is calculated using $100 instead of $115.

Exclude Taxes

Taxes are excluded from the order total when calculating affiliate commissions.

For example, if an order contains:

• Product Total: $100
• Tax: $18

The commission is calculated using $100 instead of $118.

Reject Commission on Refunded or Cancelled Orders

If a customer requests a refund or cancels an order, AffiliatePress automatically rejects any unpaid commission associated with that purchase.

This ensures affiliates receive commissions only for completed and successful orders.

Note: This option only affects commissions that have not yet been paid.

Disable Commissions for Individual Products

By default, AffiliatePress generates commissions for every product in your WP EasyCart store.

If you don’t want a specific product to generate affiliate commissions, you can disable commissions for that product without affecting the rest of your catalog.

To do this:

1. Head over to WP EasyCart → Products.
2. Click the Edit icon for the product you want to modify.
3. Scroll down to the AffiliatePress Commission Settings section.
4. Turn on the Disable Commissions option.
5. Click Update AffiliatePress Setting to save your changes.

Note: This option does not work when Commission Basis is set to Commission Per Order.

Coupon Code Add-on Support

AffiliatePress allows you to track affiliate commissions when customers purchase WP EasyCart products using affiliate coupon codes.

To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Coupon Code Add-on. Once activated, you can assign WP EasyCart coupon codes to specific affiliates.  

When a customer uses an assigned coupon code during checkout:

• The coupon discount is applied automatically.
• The purchase is attributed to the mapped affiliate.
• The affiliate commission is generated automatically.

To use this feature, make sure you have:

• The AffiliatePress Coupon Code add-on installed and activated.
• WP EasyCart Pro, as coupon creation is available in the Pro version.

Product-wise Commission Add-on Support

AffiliatePress allows you to set different commission rates for individual WP EasyCart products.

To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product-wise Commission Rate Add-on. Once activated, you can assign custom commission rates to specific products while keeping your default commission settings for other products.

For example:

Product	Commission
Premium Headphones	20%
Wireless Mouse	12%
USB Cable	Default Rate

Product specific commission rates always override:

• Default commission
• Group commission
• Affiliate specific commission

Products without a custom commission rate continue using the default commission settings.

Product Selection Add-on

AffiliatePress allows you to control which WP EasyCart products are eligible for affiliate commissions.

To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product Selection Add-on. Once activated, you can select specific WP EasyCart products that should generate affiliate commissions. Products that are not selected will not generate commissions.

After installing the add-on:

• Go to the WP EasyCart integration settings.
• Choose the products under Allowed Products.
• Save your settings.

Only the selected WP EasyCart products will generate affiliate commissions. All other WP EasyCart products will be ignored.

Note: Products selected through this add-on override the Disable Commissions product setting and will still generate commissions.

How WP EasyCart Commission Tracking Works

After turning on the WP EasyCart integration:

• A visitor clicks an affiliate link.
• The visitor purchases a product from your WP EasyCart store.
• WP EasyCart processes the order.
• AffiliatePress attributes the purchase to the referring affiliate.
• A commission is created based on your commission settings.
• If the order is refunded or cancelled, the commission may be automatically rejected as per your settings.
