Gravity Forms Integration
Integrating Gravity Forms with AffiliatePress allows you to track every affiliate commission in real time.
Whether you’re collecting payments for registrations, consultations, donations, subscriptions, or custom services, AffiliatePress makes sure each complete transaction is assigned with full accuracy to the affiliate who referred.
Here’s how to integrate Gravity Forms with AffiliatePress in just a few simple steps to go.
Before You Begin
Before configuring the integration, make sure you have the following installed and activated:
- WordPress with administrator access
- Gravity Forms (Pro)
- A supported Gravity Forms payment add-on
- AffiliatePress
Set Up Gravity Forms Integration
Follow these steps to connect Gravity Forms with AffiliatePress:
- Head over to AffiliatePress → Settings → Integrations.
- Scroll down until you find the Gravity Forms integration.
- Turn on the integration.
- Save your changes.
After saving your settings, you’ll see the following commission option.
Reject Commission on Refunded Payments
If a payment submitted through Gravity Forms is refunded, AffiliatePress can automatically reject any unpaid commission associated with that transaction.
This helps keep commission records accurate by ensuring affiliates receive commissions only for completed and successful payments.
Note: This setting only affects commissions that have not yet been paid.
Configure Commission Tracking for a Form
The Gravity Forms integration is configured individually for each form that should generate affiliate commissions.
To configure a form:
1. Head over to Gravity Forms → Forms.
2. Open the form you want to use for affiliate commission tracking.
3. Click Settings →Form Settings.
4. Now scroll till you find the AffiliatePress section under Legacy Settings.
5. Turn on the Allow Commission option. After enabling commission, you have to select the:
- Commission type (Sale, Opt-In, Lead)
- Name
6. Save your changes.
From this point onward, AffiliatePress will monitor successful payments submitted through the selected form and create commissions according to your configured commission settings.
Payment Gateway Requirement
Gravity Forms commissions are generated only after a payment has been processed successfully.
Before publishing your form, make sure:
- A payment field has been added to the form.
- A supported payment gateway is configured.
- Customers can successfully complete the payment process.
Without a successful payment, AffiliatePress will not generate a commission.
Note: AffiliatePress settings are available only with the Gravity Forms Pro version.
Product-wise Commission Add-on Support
AffiliatePress allows you to set different commission rates for individual Gravity Forms.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product-wise Commission Rate Add-on. Once activated, you can assign custom commission rates to specific forms while keeping your default commission settings for other forms.
For example:

| Event Registration | 20% |
| Membership Signup | 15% |
| Consultation Booking | Default Rate |
Form specific commission rates always take priority over:
- Default commission
- Group commission
- Affiliate specific commission
Forms without a custom commission rate continue using your default AffiliatePress commission settings.

Product Selection Add-on
AffiliatePress allows you to control which Gravity Forms are eligible for affiliate commissions.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product Selection Addon. Once activated, you can select specific forms that should generate affiliate commissions. Forms that are not selected will not generate commissions.
After installing the add-on:
- Go to the Gravity Forms integration settings.
- Choose the forms under Allowed Products.
- Save your settings.
Note: Products selected through this add-on override the Disable Commissions product setting and will still generate commissions.

How Gravity Forms Commission Tracking Works
After the integration has been configured:
- A visitor clicks an affiliate link.
- The visitor submits a Gravity Form and completes the payment.
- AffiliatePress verifies the completed transaction.
- A commission is generated based on your configured commission rules.
- If the payment is refunded before the commission is paid, AffiliatePress can automatically reject the commission when the refund option is turned on.
