ARMember Integration
Integrating ARMember with AffiliatePress is the best way to boost your revenue. Whether you offer free, paid, recurring or subscription based memberships, every eligible membership purchase made via an affiliate is tracked in real time.
Along with sales tracking, you can exclude taxes from commission calculations, reject commissions for refunded memberships, disable commissions for specific membership plans, and assign custom commission rates using AffiliatePress add-ons.
Here’s how to integrate ARMember with AffiliatePress.
Before You Begin
Before setting up the integration, make sure you have the following installed and activated:
- WordPress with administrator access
- ARMember (Lite or Pro)
- AffiliatePress
If everything above is good to go, follow the steps below to learn how to activate ARMember in AffiliatePress.
Set Up ARMember Integration
To turn on the ARMember integration:
- Head over to AffiliatePress → Settings → Integrations.
- Scroll down until you find the ARMember integration.
- Toggle on the integration and save your changes.
After turning on the integration, you can configure the following commission settings.
Exclude Taxes
Membership taxes are excluded from the order total when affiliate commissions are calculated. For example, if a membership purchase contains:
Membership Price: $100
Tax: $10
The commission is calculated using $100 instead of $110.
Reject Commission on Refund
When a membership purchase is refunded, AffiliatePress automatically rejects any unpaid commission associated with that purchase.
This ensures commissions are generated only for completed membership purchases.
Note: This option only affects commissions that have not yet been paid.
Disable Commissions for Individual Membership Plans
AffiliatePress commission settings are available in both the Lite and Pro versions of ARMember. Thus by default, AffiliatePress generates commissions for all ARMember membership plans.
If you don’t want a particular membership plan to generate affiliate commissions, you can disable commissions for that plan individually.
To do this:
- Head over to ARMember → Manage Plans.
- Edit the membership plan you want to exclude.
- Scroll down to the AffiliatePress Commission Settings section.
- Turn on the Disable Commission For This Plan option.
- Save your changes.
Note: This option does not work when Commission Basis is set to Commission Per Order.
Coupon Code Add-on Support
AffiliatePress allows you to track affiliate commissions when customers purchase ARMember membership plans using affiliate coupon codes.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Coupon Code Add-on. Once activated, you can assign ARMember coupon codes to specific affiliates. When customers use an assigned affiliate coupon code during checkout:
- The coupon discount is applied to the membership purchase.
- The purchase is attributed to the assigned affiliate.
- AffiliatePress automatically generates the commission for that affiliate.
This makes it easier for affiliates to promote your membership plans using discount codes while still receiving referral credit.

Product-wise Commission Add-on Support
AffiliatePress allows you to set different commission rates for individual ARMember membership plans.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product-wise Commission Rate Add-on. Once activated, the Product-wise Commission Rate add-on lets you assign different commission rates to individual membership plans.
For example:
| Membership Plan | Commission |
| Silver Plan | 10% |
| Gold Plan | 20% |
| Platinum Plan | Default Rate |
Product-specific commission rates always override:
- Default commission
- Group commission
- Affiliate specific commission
Membership plans without a custom commission rate use the default commission settings.

Product Selection Add-on Support
AffiliatePress allows you to control which ARMember membership plans are eligible for affiliate commissions.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product Selection Add-on. Once activated, you can select specific membership plans that should generate affiliate commissions. Membership plans that are not selected will not generate commissions.
After installing the add-on:
- Go to the ARMember integration settings.
- Choose the membership plans under Allowed Products.
- Save your settings.
Only the selected membership plans will generate affiliate commissions. All other membership plans will be ignored.
Note: Membership plans selected through this add-on override the Disable Commission For This Plan setting and will still generate commissions.

How ARMember Commission Tracking Works
After turning on the ARMember integration:
- A visitor clicks an affiliate link.
- AffiliatePress tracks commission.
- The customer purchases a membership plan.
- AffiliatePress validates the purchase.
- A commission is generated for the affiliate.
- If the membership purchase is refunded, the commission may be automatically rejected based on your settings.
