Accept Stripe Payments Integration
Integrating Accept Stripe Payments with AffiliatePress is easy. All you have to do is activate the add-on integration from AffiliatePress Settings, then configure it from your Stripe Payments plugin.
Whether you’re selling physical products, digital downloads, services, or accepting one-time payments, this integration connects your Stripe checkout with AffiliatePress so commissions are calculated without any manual work.
Here’s how to integrate Accept Stripe Payments with AffiliatePress.
Before You Begin
Before configuring the integration, make sure you have the following installed and activated:
- WordPress with administrator access
- Accept Stripe Payments
- Stripe connected to the plugin
- AffiliatePress
After everything is set to go, here’s how to setup Accept Stripe Payments with AffiliatePress.
Set Up Accept Stripe Payments Integration
Follow these steps to connect Accept Stripe Payments with AffiliatePress:
- Head over to AffiliatePress → Settings → Integrations.
- Scroll down until you find the Accept Stripe Payments integration.
- Turn on the integration.
- Save your changes.
After saving your settings, the following commission options become available.
Exclude Shipping
Turn on this option if you don’t want shipping charges to be included when affiliate commissions are calculated.
For example:
- Product Total: $100
- Shipping: $15
With Exclude Shipping turned on, the commission is calculated using $100 instead of $115.
Exclude Taxes
Turn on this option if you don’t want taxes included in the commission calculation.
For example:
- Product Total: $100
- Tax: $12
With Exclude Taxes turned on, the commission is calculated using $100 instead of $112.
Reject Commission on Cancelled Orders
When a Stripe order is cancelled, AffiliatePress can automatically reject any unpaid commission associated with that order.
This keeps commission records accurate and ensures affiliates are rewarded only for completed purchases.
Note: This setting affects only commissions that have not yet been paid.
Disable Commissions for Individual Products
By default, AffiliatePress generates commissions for every product created with Accept Stripe Payments.
If you want to exclude a particular product from your affiliate program, you can disable commission tracking for that product.
To do this:
- Head over to Stripe Payments → Products.
- Open the product you want to modify.
- Scroll down to the AffiliatePress Commission Settings section.
- Turn on the Disable Commissions option.
- Save your changes.
Coupon Code Add-on
The AffiliatePress Coupon Code add-on allows you to assign Accept Stripe Payments coupon codes to affiliates.
When a customer uses an assigned coupon code:
- The configured discount is applied automatically.
- The purchase is attributed to the mapped affiliate.
- The affiliate commission is generated automatically.
Before using this feature, make sure you have:
- The AffiliatePress Coupon Code add-on installed and activated.
- Coupon codes created in the Accept Stripe Payments plugin.

Product-wise Commission Add-on Support
AffiliatePress allows you to set different commission rates for individual Accept Stripe Payments products.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product-wise Commission Rate Addon. Once activated, you can assign custom commission rates to specific products while keeping your default commission settings for other products.
For example:

Product specific commission rates always take priority over:
- Default commission
- Group commission
- Affiliate specific commission
Products without a custom commission rate continue using your default AffiliatePress commission settings.

Product Selection Add-on
AffiliatePress allows you to control which Accept Stripe Payments products are eligible for affiliate commissions.
To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product Selection Addon. Once activated, you can select specific products that should generate affiliate commissions. Products that are not selected will not generate commissions.
After installing the add-on:
- Go to the Accept Stripe Payments integration settings.
- Choose the products under Allowed Products.
- Save your settings.
Only the selected products will generate affiliate commissions. All other products will be ignored.

How Accept Stripe Payments Commission Tracking Works
After the integration has been configured:
- A visitor clicks an affiliate link.
- The visitor purchases a product using the Stripe checkout.
- AffiliatePress verifies the completed payment.
- A commission is generated according to your configured commission settings.
- If the order is cancelled before the commission is paid, AffiliatePress can automatically reject the commission based on your settings.
