LearnPress Integration

AffiliatePress integrates with LearnPress to automatically track affiliate commissions whenever a customer purchases or enrolls in your LearnPress courses.

Here we’ll show you how to integrate LearnPress with AffiliatePress in just a few steps to go. 

Before You Begin

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have the following installed and activated:

• WordPress with administrator access
• LearnPress
• AffiliatePress

Set Up LearnPress Integration

To connect LearnPress with AffiliatePress:

1. Head over to AffiliatePress → Settings → Integrations.
2. Scroll down until you find the LearnPress integration.
3. Toggle on the integration and save your changes.

After turning on the integration, the following commission setting becomes available.

Reject Commission on Failed or Cancelled Orders

If a course purchase fails or is cancelled before the commission is paid, AffiliatePress automatically rejects the unpaid commission associated with that order.

This ensures affiliates receive commissions only for successful course purchases.

Note: This option only affects commissions that have not yet been paid.

Disable Commissions for Individual Courses

By default, AffiliatePress generates commissions for every LearnPress course.

If there are courses that you don’t want to include in your affiliate program, you can disable commissions for those courses individually.

To do this:

1. Head over to LearnPress → Courses.
2. Open the course you want to edit.
3. Scroll down to the AffiliatePress section.
4. Turn on the Disable Commissions option.
5. Save your changes.

Product-wise Commission Add-on Support

The Product-wise Commission Rate add-on lets you assign different commission rates to individual LearnPress courses.

For example:

Course	Commission
WordPress Basics	20%
Advanced SEO	30%
Content Marketing	Default Rate

Course specific commission rates always override:

• Default commission
• Group commission
• Affiliate specific commission

Courses without a custom commission rate continue using the default commission settings.

Product Selection Add-on Support 

AffiliatePress allows you to control which online course will be eligible for affiliate commissions.

To use this feature, you must install and activate the AffiliatePress Product Selection Addon. Once activated, you can select specific LearnPress courses that should generate affiliate commissions. Courses that are not selected will not generate commissions. 

After installing the add-on:

• Go to the LearnPress integration settings.
• Choose the products under Allowed Products.
• Save your settings.

Note: Products selected through this add-on override the Disable Commissions product setting and will still generate commissions.

How LearnPress Commission Tracking Works

After activating the LearnPress integration:

• A visitor clicks an affiliate link.
• The visitor purchases or enrolls in a LearnPress course.
• LearnPress processes the enrollment.
• AffiliatePress attributes the purchase to the referring affiliate.
• A commission is created based on your commission settings.
• If the order fails or is cancelled, the commission may be automatically rejected – if you configured it that way.
