Accessing Tiered Affiliate Rate Settings
- Navigate to

. - Locate the Tiered Affiliate Rates section.
Commission Type
You can choose between two methods to calculate the tiered affiliate rate:
1. Sales Count Based
- The affiliate’s commission rate increases based on the number of approved commissions they’ve received.
- Each threshold defines how many approved commissions are needed to qualify for a higher commission rate.
Example:
Threshold up to (Sales Count) | Rate (%) |
---|---|
2 | 10% |
4 | 20% |
6 | 30% |
2. Sales Amount Based
- The affiliate’s commission rate increases based on the total product amount.
- Each threshold defines how much a product price an affiliate needs to earn to unlock the next rate.
Example:
Threshold (Amount in $) | Rate (%) |
---|---|
100 | 15% |
250 | 25% |
500 | 35% |
Tiered Affiliate Rate Settings
- Type: Choose between the two tier calculation methods:
- Sales Count Based
- Sales Amount Based
- Threshold: Defines the minimum requirement to reach a particular tier:
- If using Sales Count Based: This is the number of approved commissions.
- If using Sales Amount Based: This is the amount earned from approved commissions.
- Rate (%): Specifies the commission percentage to be applied once the threshold is crossed.
Tiered Rate Expiration Monthly
When this option is set to “Yes”, the affiliate’s tier progress (whether based on sales count or approved earnings) is reset at the beginning of each calendar month. This means the affiliate must re-qualify for higher commission tiers every month by meeting the thresholds again.
This feature is especially useful for running monthly affiliate challenges or performance-based incentives, where commission tiers are evaluated and awarded on a month-by-month basis.
