Easy Digital Downloads Integrations

AffiliatePress integration with Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) allows you to efficiently manage affiliate referrals and commissions. This integration simplifies affiliate tracking, optimizes commission structures, and helps boost your sales through powerful affiliate marketing capabilities.

Enable Easy Digital Downloads integration

To enable Easy Digital Downloads support, navigate to AffiliatePress > Settings > Integrations and enable the Easy Digital Downloads integration by enabling the switch.

Once enabled, additional options will appear, including “Exclude Shipping”, “Exclude Taxes”, and “Reject Commission on Refund, Delete, Fail, Abandoned or Revoked Order”.

Exclude Shipping: When enabled, shipping charges will not be included in the order total for commission calculations.

Exclude Taxes: When enabled, download product taxes will not be included in the order total for commission calculations.

Reject Commission on Refund, Delete, Fail, Abandoned or Revoked Order: If enabled, the unpaid commission for an order will automatically be rejected if the EDD order is refunded, deleted, failed, abandoned or revoked.

Disabling commissions for a particular download product

By default, commissions are generated for all your download products. However, you can disable commissions for specific download products in Easy Digital Downloads. To do this, please follow the settings below:

Navigate to your WordPress Admin > Downloads and edit the download for which you want to disable the commissions.

Once you are on the download’s edit screen, scroll down to the AffiliatePress Commission Settings. Check the “Disable Commissions” option and save the download.

Note: Disable download product option will not be working if “Commission Basis” setting is set to “Commission Per Order”.
